Temporary financial help due to wife's breast cancer
Organized by: Rex Peck
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in right breast exactly 2 weeks after we moved into our new home and since 9/12/16 has only been able to work one full week due to biopsies, Dr appointments with surgeon, oncologists, genetic counselors and recently emergency room visits due to a large hematoma which burst. She goes to work on Saturdays when she is allowed to just to try and get at least 30 hours in for next pay check, but with $111 week in insurance deductions, taxes etc her checks barely will pay electric bill and my checks every 2 weeks cover rent and utilities. There is nothing left for car payments, insurance, copays, groceries (we have a son in high school) etc. Her employer only offers Aflac but she didn't sign up for it because we couldn't afford it with insurance so expensive. On 10/31/16 she will undergo mastectomy and beginning phases of reconstruction and will be unable to work 4 to 6 weeks at all and afterwards will still not get 40 hours for some time due to follow up visits with her doctors. People that know my wife know she will give someone the shirt off her back or her last dollar and People do not do enough in return for her yet she keeps giving and paying it forward. We are on the brink of losing everything and unfortunately need financial help during this unexpected diagnosis and treatment period and it's not something that comes easy but we have no place else to turn just to keep roof over our head, utilities on, food and at least one of our vehicles. If we have to turn higher monthly payment vehicle in, we will but that is more added stress with a lawsuit, collection agencies, etc. We truly appreciate any donation and please know after all this is over and she has full recovery we will once again pay it forward as we always have. Thank you very much in advance.
