I am 1988 graduate of South Webster High School and received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from the University of Kentucky in 1994. As the owner of Scioto Smiles Dental Group and a general dentist, I enjoy providing a broad scope of services to our patients including: orthodontics, pediatric services, endodontics (root therapy), and smile changes. I feel very blessed to be able to help people in such a significant way and am dedicated to providing the best results I can in a manner that is caring, gentle and personalized for each one.
My daughter Baylee and I enjoyed the Dancing with our Stars event last year. I was impressed with the quality of the production and the level of talent displayed in the dancing efforts of the participants. It is a great opportunity to come together with the entire Dancing with our Stars group to promote and support the American Red Cross as they help people in great and small need. My family and I have not yet needed the services of the organization on a personal level but I have always been familiar with the Red Cross efforts as national disasters are brought to our attention in the media. It is good to know there is a passionate organization prepared and ready to meet the needs of any of us when tragedy happens and it warms my heart to make a difference in their efforts by raising these funds.
Pursuits that keep me enthusiastic include: developing, supporting and loving my children; studying the Bible; Tennessee Walking horses; riding the four wheeling and razor in the woods with my children and passing time with friends and family. I took tap dancing as a child and also sang with a Southern Gospel group during college.
I remember waltzing with my dad as a little girl while he sang the “Tennessee Waltz” and I stood on his feet at our home in New Boston, which is currently the location of my dental office Scioto Smiles and look forward to dancing with him again.
I want to thank my friend Kellie Bell for helping me stay organized with schedules and details and administrating the information and fundraising. I want to thank all my friends at Scioto Smiles for their support in fundraising and personal encouragement. Thanks to my dad, Darrell Yeley for agreeing to be my partner. Thank you to Kerri Stambaugh for helping my dad and me dance and enjoy making this memory together. And thank you to the American Red Cross for caring about people in need and presenting this unique and fun opportunity for our community to come together to laugh, smile, share and be a part of blessing others with you.
