Four years I decided to take control of my health and joined a boot camp. I lost weight and inches and got stronger. I gave myself a goal to do a pull up and I finally did that. Through my work outs I was introduced to some 5K runs and completed some10Ks as well. The Warrior Dash 3 times, Gladiator, 408K, Pineapple Run, Ranch Romp, Turtle Run, Rave Run, The Color Run and probably other's I've forgoten. Participating in these give me focus and the by product gave back to charities. It's a win win.
So when John Herringer of Fast Action Training sent out the email about the Push Up for Charity I had to take the Challenge - AGAIN!. Last year I did 50, 35 on my toes. This year let's skip the knees all together.
One more reason to stay healthy so that I can give back to others.
