BENEFITING: PACIFIC HEART LUNG & BLOOD INSTITUTE
Join us Sunday, October 27th at the Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Help us make a difference in the lives of those suffering with malignant pleural mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer affecting the lining of the chest- the pleura. This walk is designed to raise awareness about mesothelioma and to pay tribute to those who have fought the diesease or are still fighting. All proceeds will benefit the Punch Worthington Laboratory at UCLA and PMC's new laboratory on Santa Monica Boulevard to promising therapies that will provide better quality of life and increase the lifespan of mesothelioma patients.
CREATE A TEAM: Create a team to walk and fundraise with you. Each team member must raise a minimum of $100.
Walk as an Individual: Individuals can walk for $35 (which includes lunch and T-shirt), but are still encouraged to fundraise to help us meet our goal.
Last year, several hundred walkers came to support friends and loved ones at the event in Agoura Hills, raising more than $67,000! Our goal this year is to raise $100,000.
