You were young.
You were strong. Stronger than I'll ever be.
You fought. Even when doctors wouldn't.
You had people you loved, you had things to live for.
You who always gave, .. never took.
You, out of all people didn't deserve to suffer so bad.
You who tought me how to breath, didn't deserve to gasp for air.
You who loved work and knew no rest didn't deserve to be bed ridden.
It's not fair.
You did everything right.
All life long.
Why? Why can't we take control of cancer in the 21st century? It doesn't discriminate - it takes young, old, men, women. I'm sick of hearing those cancer stories.
Today we say farewell to David Bowie - 69 and my dad - 65 who both lost their battles with cancer yesterday.
I'm donating to MDS foundation b/c I couldn't do much for my dad. You can join me by donating or you can go buy yourself something on smile.amazon.com to benefit your favorite charity. Doesn't matter how much. No goals, no limit. Just good deeds. Just do something.
First and foremost. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
... oh and play the video and let's rock to some David Bowie.
... and Dad. I miss you man!
