Arbor Day Foundation wrote -2011's devastating wildfires destroyed the Lost Pines Forest of Bastrop, Texas. The good news is that recovery is underway, and now you can help bring back the loblolly trees that made the Lost Pines of Texas one of the most unique and beautiful places in the world.
This replanting effort will restore the historic Bastrop State Park Lost Pines Forest as well as help Central Texans in the affected area gain access to native tree species for replanting on private land.
The Lost Pines Forest serves a critical role in the history and environmental sustainability of the state and region. This campaign is going to help ensure it continues to play that role for years to come.
