BENEFITING: INDIA OUTREACH MINISTRIES
One of the projects we are working on under "searching for goodness" (initiative stil in its infancy) (http://searchingforgoodness.com) is a partnership with The Glass Half Full (http://www.the-glass-half-full.org/).
The-Glass-Half-Full was started by two young individuals, a German national and an Indian national, aiming to shift the focus from “eradicating poverty” to “creating the desired state”. Their First phase: a 12,000km journey through rural India to document the conditions along 12 dimensions that they believe constitute to the desired state. This journey will primarily be covered on bicycle.
In order to do my bit to support their cause, I got the intro video made for them: http://www.youtube.com/watch...
Now The Glass Half Full and I have partnered to capture their project, I, with the help of The Freedom Of Expression Movement (The Not For Profit I support) (www.bethekey.in) are the doing entire post-production process, as they go along their journey. Currently my post production equipment and team are completely saturated and, lack the bandwidth to do this. Given that we are Not for Profit, we didn't have adequate time to acquire the funding.
Using this platform, the money raised is going to be used for buying better sound equipement for Kalyan and Wiebke Koch, to cover their journey, to store their content that they are capturing over a period of 210 days trip around india. The funds that are remaining are going to be used for the post production to improve the quality and efficiency of the content.
