EVENT DATE: Aug 12, 2017

THE STORY:

The Arthritic Dept. consists of two 45-50 year-old men that their doctors would say have no business running almost 20 kilometers through hills, 25 obstacles, mud, ice, fire and arthritis... but that is what makes it so compelling! We are running mostly because we seem to like pain but also for the worthy cause of helping to provide life saving equipment at Guelph General Hospital. You might expect that the Ontario Government covers that cost of providing new technologies at our hospitals, but you would be wrong. At Guelph General every dollar spent on patient care equipment is provided through community support (donors like you). If you, a family member or a friend lives in the Guelph community, then at some point in their life they will have an experience at the hospital. Community support like this means the difference between experiencing good care or experiencing excellent care. Every little bit counts and we thank you for your generous support.
