We are LIVE!
July 20, 2017
10 years ago, my Marathon Journey began when I first volunteered at the Start Village of the New York City Marathon. A 3 a.m. wake up. For 30,000+ runners.
You can read more about my experiences here:
In 2009, I kicked off my first 26.2 mile run.
2017 will mark my 10th marathon.
I am once again “running” a campaign for the Blue Card Fund, which supports Holocaust survivors in the United States. More info about Blue Card’s incredible work is available here:
“New York’s Biggest Block Party,” as it’s dubbed by NYRR Race Director and Co-President Peter Ciaccia, is simply an event like no other. Bands line the route. Costumes fill the streets. Cowbells and choirs line the curbs.
55,000 runners. 100 nations represented. 2 million cheerleaders.
Start your own Marathon Journey on Sunday, November 5th. Come out and cheer, or volunteer along the course. I guarantee it will be one of the best experiences of your year.
