BENEFITING: Childrens Alopecia Project
September is national Alopecia awareness Month! Alopecia is a condition that causes round patches of hair loss, and can eventually lead to total hairless. My sister, Anya, who is now 14 was diagnosed with Alopecia 4 years ago, and she is my inspiration for this fundraiser. For the past 2 years I have done this fundraiser and raised a total of $2,400!! This year I set a goal of $1500!! All proceeds go to the CAP project. My goal is to help to raise awareness about alopecia, providing support for children and their families, and building self esteem in children living with alopecia. All the money will be donated to the "Children's Alopecia Project". The Children's Alopecia Project is here to help any child in need living with hair loss due to all forms of alopecia. CAP is devoted specifically to children living with the incurable autoimmune hair loss disease, Alopecia. CAP's goal is for Kids to grow in confidence and to become stronger teens and more productive adults, maybe even future advocates of alopecia. They accomplish this by building self-esteem, providing support and raising awareness. The Mission of the Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP) is to help any child in need who is living with hair loss due to all forms of alopecia. Please donate and lets raise money for Children's Alopecia!!
