The Complete HIstory of San Antonio

Organized by: Jessie Johnson

San Antonio is so rich in history such as the battle of the Alamo, the building of the Missions, the river walk, the battle of San Jacinto and so much much more. There is so much history that there has not been a single book on the complete history of San Antonio. Only individual pieces. Not to mention the rich diverse culture that makes up San Antonio from Hispanic, German, Irish, Scottish, Canary islanders, Italian, Oriental, and Native American cultures. This book will cover the first settlers from the Canary Islands to the Spanish settlers, the ownership of Mexico to all the battles such as the Alamo that took place to how modern San Antonio became a military town with all its Air Force bases such as Brooks, Lackland ( where all the nations Air Force recruits go through basic training) to Ft San Houston. This would be a very cultural rich book that should be shared with all. I am asking 10,000 to help cover the costs of research, pictures (old and modern ones) as well as interviews needed. Anyone who donates will have their name mentioned in the book. So help bring The Complete History of San Antonio come to life. Thank you. Sincerely, Jessie Johnson
