Camp Odayin provides a safe (medically supervised) environment for kids with heart disease. It is a great place for these kids to have fun with one another and connect with other kids who have been through similar surgeries, hospitalizations, medical difficulties, etc.
The people working at Camp Odayin are the absolute best. And the camp counselors volunteer their time to help out - they take off work, they find childcare for their own children, etc. to be there to create special memories for these kiddos. Cooper had another great experience this year and really enjoyed spending time with the camp counselors, his heart buddies, and making new friends.
Camp Odayin is a non-profit organization that is fully funded by corporate gifts, fundraisers, and donations. The cost for a week of camp is $500, but the only charge to campers is a $25 registration fee!!! Please consider making a donation!
