BENEFITING: HATTIESBURG UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION
The late and great President Emeritus of Morehouse College Dr. Benjamin E. Mays once said, “Every man and woman are born into the world to do something unique and something distinctive. And if he or she does not do it, it will never be done.” Visionary Entrepreneur and Educator Michael L. Gilmore in concert with the Hattiesburg University Foundation - Atlanta is doing something unique and distinctive by impacting lives and communities. In America, Poverty hurts! Moreover, lack of access to affordable housing, community businesses, education, economic development, jobs and job training hurt even further. Thus, the Hattiesburg University Foundation, in its uniqueness and distinctiveness is designing, developing and distributing THE GILMORE @ ATLANTA, an affordable mixed use residential and retail development that will consist of 67 affordable housing units, non-profit social enterprises such as Can You Spare a Dollar? $1.00 Retail Store, other small shops and restaurants, and G-Cinema, a neighborhood movie theater, all of which will aid/assist in creating jobs, housing and businesses for a low income area herein Atlanta, Georgia.
