"Rebuilding souls one life at a time." We have admitted we are powerless over our addiction. And after torment and despair, sought help in laying to rest our inner demons. Now what? Do we return to the neighborhoods that are lined with streets cluttered by the memories of our turmoil? Return to home environments that have always been conducive to our lifestyle of destruction? Or perhaps now, we have no home at all? Yes, now what? Welcome to The House of Nehemiah. The House of Nehemiah (THON) Recovery, located in the City of Baltimore, is the premier treatment program addressing substance abuse and mental illness. We live by the creed “The Fight is Real.” The FIGHT effects every aspect of our recovery. One aspect in particular is THON operates in the midst of a dangerous pandemic of addiction, homelessness and crime. We are a strong network of counselors and healthcare professionals advocating for change and recovery. Staff members have armed themselves with extensive industry knowledge, community trust and professional support. Operational oversight is delegated by Owner/C.E.O Sharan Lindsay with over 20 years of Addiction Medicine relapse Prevention. Leadership supported by clinical and administrative staff that assists in defining our level of care. Their integration of personal experience that has been turned into professional achievement and public success allows each team member the ability to interact and build productive relationships with current clients, maintain relapse prevention services with past clients and extend hope to potential clients. The residential housing program offers a unique and holistic approach to combating substance abuse and mental illness with services that foster total well-being. At our core, THON is a network of hope for anyone desiring to make lifestyle changes. We have identified the problem, assessed previous recovery vehicles and structured a program to infiltrate and fill the breaches of care. Our program is based on total healing, overall health and unconditional stability with the culmination of Spiritual Principals and Modern Treatment Practice. “We Treat and We Inspire”
