DivertCity and Journey have partnered to build a skatepark in the impact sports capital of Central America:
This is one of the most populated urban areas in Central America, and is in desperate need of community centers and impact sports engagement to keep their youth off the streets and out of gang culture. We are bringing 50 volunteers to build a skate park on government donated land and participate in community revitalization projects.
We will have a grand opening of a full-size, industry standard skatepark on Sunday, April 2nd. We will have professional skateboarders demo the equipment, offer lessons to the locals, set up Skate Clubs, and donate equipment to keep the project alive.
Project Goal: $50k
$30K TO BUILD SKATEPARK
$5K TO 5 YEAR SKATE TRAINING PROGRAM
$5K FOR EQUIPMENT DONATION
$5K FOR EXTREME SCHOOL MAKEOVER
$5K TO NEXTUP YOUTH TRAVELERS
