Good and Bad News

The good news is that we found the perfect house to rent! The bad news is that the deposits for the house are expensive and we'll need to save See More

THE STORY:

On April 22, 2016, our eldest child's 12th birthday, my husband unexpectedly lost his job. He was able to secure a new job right away, but it is 4 hours away from our home. He is currently sleeping in the back of our suburban at free camp sites while I pack up our house and sell some furniture. My name is Alicia. We are a simple family. My husband, Samuel, is a veteran of the US Army, having served for 10 years and deploying during that time to Iraq and Afghanistan. We have known each other since we were young teenagers, married 13 years now. We have 4 children, ages 12, 10, 2, and 1. I stay at home to care for our kids, including homeschooling the older two. We don't need much to get by, we just want to be together. Our plan is to camp in a tent at free sites near my husband's new job until we have saved up enough money to rent a house. This is where you come in! We could use a helping hand to enable us to save up the money needed to pay the initial move-in costs typically associated with a rental (first month's rent, deposit, utilities, etc.). Any amount that you can help us with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading our story and in advance for your generosity!
