BENEFITING: Strive: How You Lead Matters
EVENT DATE: Jan 06, 2018
AT STRIVE WE'RE DEDICATED TO SPREADING THE POWER OF CHARACTER-DRIVEN LEADERSHIP
We work with students, coaches, and organizations — building conscious cultures and developing leaders at every level of a program.
Like never before, effective leaders must possess the ability to respect, understand and connect with people who are very different from themselves. Our research-based curriculum features core competencies such as self-awareness, grit, empathy, self-efficacy, gratitude, and teamwork that are critical to successful leadership. Strive programs begin with self-knowledge, move into culture creation, and ultimately instill the habit of rigorous leadership practice. Participants are able to find the best in themselves so they can inspire the best in others.
In 2017, we provided over $125,000 in scholarships to ensure that our curriculum can reach every student-athlete, coach, principal, or a 6th grade student, regardless of their financial means.
Strive is based in Wilmington, Delaware at The Mill - a coworking community of people ambitious people who get work done and have fun doing it. The Mill shares our values of intentional culture creation, sticking through our work, and choosing laughter as we accomplish great things. They are critical supporters in our daily operations and we are honored to have their further support through the Delaware Charity Challenge.
Robert Herrera, Founder of The Mill, will be “racing to raise” for Strive at the 2018 Delaware Charity Challenge Winter Indoor Triathlon. We hope that you will follow Robert’s lead and support his bike, run, and row so that students from all backgrounds have the opportunity to become successful leaders - because how you lead matters.
