Who Are We?
The Foundation 2 F.A.M.E is a 501(c)(3) youth empowerment agency designed to support, motivate, and uplift the inner city’s youth. Geared towards at-risk teens of underdeveloped communities, The Foundation 2 F.A.M.E. is launching the Musical Theory 2 F.A.M.E. project. The project, by harnessing musical and artistic expression, will offer teens a reminder that their future isn’t dictated by present circumstances and that their future is their own to shape.
While earning a stipend for their efforts, all participants will gain substantial exposure to the realms of creativity and education. By promoting scholastic excellence, leadership, entrepreneurialism, business etiquette and financial literacy, The Musical Theory 2 F.A.M.E. will provide teens with the tools that they need to achieve their aspirations.
The Musical Theory 2 F.A.M.E project will run from June, 13th 2016 through August, 5th 2019. In order for participants to attend The Musical theory program, specific requirements and guidelines must be met. All participants must maintain a specific GPA within their educational institution and adhere to a strict code of conduct. Confident with the success of the 1st year trial run, the board members of The Foundation 2 F.A.M.E believe there will be many more years to come. The Foundation 2 F.A.M.E strives to mold the leaders of tomorrow by challenging participants to Follow, Aspire, Multiply, and Elevate themselves today.
Our vision is to change communities through engagement. Music and art have the capacity to bring all walks of life together, Therefore, the possible impact that they can leave on a community is infinite. With unemployment, violence and crime currently at alarming levels, we aim to show our youth numerous ways to channel their energy into something positive and worthwhile. Our foundation diligently aims to make leaders of society by providing a sanctuary for the inner city’s diamonds in the rough. We envision facilitating business workshops, financial literacy and musical programs to equip participants with tools needed to reach heights they never dreamed of. Show your support by donating to art, education, and cultural preservation for our youth.
The operational side of such a program requires a significant amount of manpower, facilities, and equipment. In order to achieve the goals set by the Foundation 2 F.A.M.E. $100,000 would be required for the first operational year. Donated funds would be distributed through the program in various areas such as stipends for the student participants, renovation of the recording facility to accommodate the participants, transportation, compensation for the coordinators, new equipment for students and more.
Contributions will not only play a significant role in the short term and long term goals of The Musical Theory 2 F.A.M.E Project, but THEY WILL secure the programs longevity. With the projected success that this program will garner, The Foundation 2 F.A.M.E. intends to expand the program to provide a larger range of educational opportunities for at-risk youth as well as an expansion in the areas serviced by our programs. Donations to our non-profit organization are tax deductible.
