Every 109 seconds, an American in the United States is sexually assaulted. I have been one of those 109 many times. Every 8 minutes , that victim is a child . I have been that child, many times. Of the children sexually assaulted, 80% of the perpetrators were a parent, and 6% were other relatives. I am personally aware that both of these statistics are true . I know what it's like to not feel safe with those who are supposed to love and protect you . I know the destruction caused by the feeling that your body does not belong to you . I know how hot the tears are when you tell family about what you've suffered through and they side with your abuser. My heart knows that it was broken a little more each time the rest of the body was assaulted. My mind stored the memories, but my soul stored the pain . I know that the physical body is resilient, but the wounds that remain are of the soul, and can remain agape for a very long time. I know what it's like to try so desperately to fix yourself when you feel so broken, and have traditional therapy fail. Anyone who has survived such abuse can attest that its the heart and spirit that remains damaged.... so why are most conventional methods of abuse healing centered around the mind ? These wounds must be addressed holistically : addressing the physical body, the energy of the body and the spirit, not simply talked through... I now know how to heal myself using shamanic and energetic techniques, not conventionally available, and completely unknown to most. Professionally, I have spent the last 5 years healing others, guided to funnel my empathy, experience and knowledge to help those similarly still suffering . This is why I am on this planet, in this body, in this life . This is my purpose . I created the The Parvati Project to integrate these very powerful methods of shamanic and energetic healing into the repetoire of existing care centers for sexual abuse survivors. I am dedicated to shifting the paradigm of healing away from the current model rooted in the psyche, to a more holistic approach that acknowledges the wounds of the soul, and encompasses spiritual and energetic healing to target the root of the pain. To raise money to get this done, first I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft) with these red wings, and I am going to dance the elements on the top of that monster of a mountain, moving the energies that healed me though me once again, and for all of those still suffering. After Killi, I fly to Russia to dance on top of Mt Elbrus (18,510 ft)... then in November, Aconcagua (22,841). These wings are on a mighty mission. We all deserve to feel powerful, free and loved. Unfortunately these feelings are incomprehensible to those still bearing the wounds of abuse. I will share my understanding and experience of shamanic and energetic healing as widely as I can, in this lifetime, to minimize the suffering of as many as I can. I hope my fundraising stunt serves as an inspiration for those still suffering : there is hope. You can get your true self back again after it was taken away..... the fears cultivated by the mind to protect the wounds can be appeased.... Magical things can be accomplished after the body was hijacked, the heart ripped open, and the spirit fragmented. Shamanic and energetic healing is accessible, powerful, and fast. Everyone suffering can feel whole once again. Support the Parvati Project and make this mission feasible. Please follow along on instagram : and facebook :
