Juvenile Myositis (JM) is a life-threatening disease which causes the body’s own immune system to attack healthy cells and tissues. It can cause pain, weakness, inability to walk and disfigurement. It can affect virtually any system of the body, the heart, lungs, skin, muscles, and more. With support from friends and family like you, top researchers are getting closer to better treatments and a cure to help children with JM. Last year, Cure JM was able to fund research at 10 prestigious research institutions, helping to advance JM research at an unprecedented pace – including important JM research being funding right here at the NIH and George Washington University Myositis Center! Your gift now will keep that momentum going. Every donation goes straight to Cure JM, and over 91% of all funds raised go directly to research. Can we count on you to help today?
