The Price Of Living In The Far North
Organized by: Russell Kanate
Hi, I would like to have your attention while I give you an insight into why living in Canada Ontario's far north with no road access (only by air) is very expensive. Yes the landscape is beautiful, sunsets are breath taking and with this happening in the foreground, the real world is surreal and let me tell you. The local stores carry a range of can goods with minimal produce as we live to far and while gardening would be an asset, the costs are to high. The electricity bill is another story of it's own, with the same price tag "EXPENSIVE"...Jobs are limited and this is where I need help, lately I haven't been able to keep up with my bills and to maintain the food hamper and while I have 4 in my house hold, the struggle to survive is weighing me down. My girls (2 of them) both 12 years of age keep me going. With my goal of $10,000.00, though this would sustain us for a short time we would be happy with what we could get.
