Hello, My two amazing parents and sister are currently living in Venezuela. They are struggling to find food, and basic resources are scarce. They have no shampoo, soap, toilet paper, etc., and food is extremely limited or non-existent. They wait in line from early morning to late evening to try to obtain food, and consistently come back home empty handed. People are very desperate, to the point that individuals are conducting raids on stores and shops; and they are increasing. They set fires in the streets in front of stores and loot the store bare. As of now, there is not much left even to steal. Violence is increasing. I have had no luck bringing them to the United States so I am trying to find them a home in Panama. The money I managed to raise here will be used to help my father get his working papers so he can at least begin working in Panama. My deadline is to raise enough funds by December 2016. My family are the most wonderful people who have dedicated their lives to God, and the church, and each other. My mother loves children, and spends most of her time helping poor and homeless children in the church ministries. My father has served in the ministry as well, and helps the church with repairs and services. They have never been paid to serve in these ministries, and they truly do everything out of love for others. They are the most caring, selfless, loving people, and their lives are in danger. Venezuela will not recover, and the situation is becoming worse and worse by the hour. Please help me save them. It has been very difficult for me to raise the funds and maintain my basic needs in the US. Every bit will help, and it will mean so much to me and my family if you can help us. It is hard to ask for help, but I have no other options, and time is running out. From the bottom of my heart……..thank you. Nalani
