The Sisters of Fraternite Notre Dame received incredible news on January 13th. The San Francisco Planning Commission unanimously approved the opening of their new soup kitchen! Now that the new building received the green light, it's time for the next phase. Help the Sisters get one step closer to opening their new soup kitchen doors so they can continue to serve some of San Francisco's poorest and most in need. Donate today to help raise funds to get the building outfitted and equipped for serving food!
Since 2008, the Sisters of the Fraternite Notre Dame have operated a small soup kitchen for San Franciscans in need and provided countless free meals to low-income residents and people who are living on the streets. Due to a sharp increase in their rent, the Sisters could no longer afford their kitchen but refused to give up. Entrepreneur, best-selling author and philanthropist, Tony Robbins learned of the Sisters' story and was inspired by their mission to serve the poor. Through the help of Tony and the Platinum Partners, the Sisters have been able to find and buy a new home for their soup kitchen in the Mission District. The new building, now ready for the next phase of construction, is next to a homeless services center with the potential to further reach those in need.
Funds raised through this link will be provided to the Sisters of Fraternite Notre Dame for the new soup kitchen through the Anthony Robbins Foundation.
