CHANGES TO THIS YEAR’S KICKBALL FOR ALL
We asked former players for feedback, and we listened to your responses. So there are a couple of exciting changes at this year’s event. The two big changes are:
Location - we have moved Kickball for All to a great new location - The Boston Common Baseball Field. It is very easy to access by public transportation and if you decide to drive there is the Boston Common Parking Garage right underneath the field.
Changes on to how you register and how you support Tutors for All. Thanks to our friends at Crowdrise, we have streamlined the registration process. Everyone registers in one place!
This year we are asking all players to set up their own Crowdrise page with its own individual fundraising goal. It’s really fast, it's really easy, and it will really help you help us meet our ambitious 2016 goal: $15,000 in support of 1500 hours of tutorial for Boston kids.
We do not require a fundraising minimum, and we don’t want to put a ceiling on the amount that any one person can raise. We do, however, have the following suggested fundraising goals:
STUDENTS AND TUTORS- Fundraising Goal of $50 or more
MILLENIALS AND NONPROFIT TYPES - Fundraising Goal of $100 or more
PROFESSIONALS - Fundraising Goal of $250 or more
Whatever amount you chose to set your fundraising goal at is perfectly fine. There is no minimum and there is certainly no maximum! We are here to help you reach and exceed your fundraising goal and we will be providing you useful tips along the way. Prizes will be given to the INDIVIDUAL who raises the most money as well as the TEAM that raises the most money.
