On Sunday, November 5th, I will be running the NYC Marathon ( first ever full marathon!) in an attempt to raise over $3,000 for The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (UCF). I have been given a charity entry spot to run in this bucket list marathon, and I couldn't feel more determined to not only raise over $3,000, but to train my hardest and successfully cross the finish line in the big apple!
I have seen UCF in action first hand at the Under Armour Performance Center , I have trained some incredible young adults who have been battling various forms of aggressive cancers, and I have seen how supportive UCF has been for not only those fighting cancer, but also for the family that stands behind them. I could say it a thousand times over, UCF does incredible work and I am honored to run the NYC marathon with Team Fight.
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults mission is to "change lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer", and if you feel inclined to support this mission and to support me running in the NYC marathon, please consider donating!
