BENEFITING: Arizona Humane Society
EVENT DATE: Nov 17, 2013
I know that many of you were probably planning on giving me a birthday gift. First off I'd like to say "Thank you" for your warm thoughts. However, God has blessed me with everything that I need. There is no point in increasing my material possessions when I don't even have room to put things I already own! He has blessed me with a roof over my head, food on my table, friends and family. However, everyday I see animals that are homeless and that need our love. I constantly see dogs that have been run-over or that are hurt. I see dogs that have no where to go. Therefore, they go hungry and thirsty, especially in our Phoenix summers. That's why I'm creating the 1210 Project. That's based off of Proverbs 12:10 that says, "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animals." Instead of giving your money to me, one who has everything he needs, why don't we all get together and help poor dogs that have nowhere to go, no where to rest, no one to love them. I believe that we have the opportunity to have an impact here in Phoenix and help out a small dent in our problem of animal overpopulation.
