The 52nd Street Project provides FREE after school arts-in-education programming to underserved youth in Hell's Kitchen. Working with professional artists from the local theater community, Project members create original theater that is performed free to the general public. Through the collaborative process of creating theater, we aim to give our kids the experience of resounding success and public validation, and to equip them with the tools to cope with and function within the world around them. By keeping our shows free to the public, we are helping bring the art of theater to many in our community who would not otherwise have access to it. This Giving Tuesday, we are aiming to raise over $5,000 to help support our upcoming year of theatrical programming!
