BENEFITING: WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Today’s wounded veterans are returning home in unprecedented numbers and facing extraordinary obstacles as they return to society. Over 48,000 servicemen and women have been physically injured in our recent conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder and another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment. Wounded Warrior Project® calls on each of us to recognize these enormous sacrifices made by our newest generation of veterans.
The ABO DIrectors have personally donated $10,000+ over the past 3 years to the Wounded Warrior Project. In the season of giving, the ABO is asking you to please consider joining us this year in honoring the service of our veterns and acknowledging the tremendous impact on their families.
