The Apollis Scholarship

The Apollis Society is an online community dedicated to helping young writers (8th-12th grade) get the help they need for their short stories, novels, and poetry. You'd be surprised how many of the youth are writing novels these days, and yet they give up because of lack of interest from the audience they are trying to reach.

We don't want them to give up, we want to open their eyes to the college opportunities they can get with their writing. Instead of writing for the public, we want them to write for themselves but accept help when it's offered. To do that, we would like to start a Scholarship Fund.

For 12th graders around the country, we want to offer $1,000 to five writers that participate in a writing contest. Given an inspiring theme like Graduation Day, Helping others, Bright Futures, and so many others, we want these young writers to express themselves through their writing for a chance at getting a College Scholarship.

We are planning to start this Scholarship next year, so we have a long time to raise funds to help these young writers get to college.
