'The Big Event' Fundraiser for CAF
Over the past few weeks, premiere able-bodied athletes have come together to compete at the world’s largest athletic forum. Now, it’s the elite challenged athletes turn to dominate.
Due to sponsorship regulations, CAF cannot address this ‘event’ by name, so we’ll just call it: ‘The Big Event’. Nonetheless, here’s a snapshot of what your support to CAF has made possible through adaptive sports equipment, training and competition expenses...
- 42% of Team USA’s represented challenged athletes competing at ‘The Big Event’ are CAF funded
- 38% of Junior Nationals participants have received funding from CAF
- 24% of 2016 grants were distributed to youth adaptive athletes, so the next generation can one day pursue their goals of competing at ‘The Big Event’
For the first time ever, ‘The Big Event’ will be covered for 66 hours on television from September 7-18, 2016.
While you’re watching these amazing athletic endeavors, consider the impact your generosity has on, not only the athletes competing this year, but also those young challenged athletes training hard to compete four years from now in Tokyo.
By generously donating, you can be sure that thousands of challenged athletes will be able to pursue their dreams!
