BENEFITING: JRM Foundation
In Honor of Bijay: a little boy from Yangri!
We built the first home when we were on the ground in Yangri. I still remember after all days hard work and help from Nepali Army we got all supplies delivered to the village and started digging the ground and hammering all night starting at 9 pm. So far nine out of 10 homes have been completed. We need to do another 41 homes. You can see below the transition from the time when we were on the ground. Many of the people I met in Yangri still don't have a home.
JRM Foundation for Humanity has donated $16,000 to get this project started. We have to raise more funds to help build the remaining homes. I will be returning to Yangri village in November and my hope is to have all homes built by then. I am also hoping then to do a big concert across the bridge in Yangri and invite all surrounding villages to join us.
We will all celebrate our resilience and courage and the fact that together we are Stronger Than 7.8 #NepalQuake
