Jess Pratt wrote -This foundation is so important to me as my best friend is suffering from a form of dysautonomia called POTS. Pots stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, this is one of the chronic illnesses that she suffers from. This illness has taken over her life and with this fundraiser trying to help get closer to the cure so she can live a normal teenage life. The estimate people diagnosed with POTS is 1 out of 100 teenagers and my best friend has been chronically ill for over a year suffering from it. Some of the most common POTS symptoms are headaches/migraines, fainting dizziness, loss of peripheral vision, nausea, weakness, hypothermia and lots more. From standing up healthy peoples heart rate is 70-100, and when POTS sufferers stand up theirs may go up to 215. As you can see it is incredibly important that we help fundraiser this charity to help find a cure, because Daisy is one of over 3 million people suffering from this chronic illness, and it is barely reconsidered as a serious illness. Please help me reach my goal as my best friend is my world, and I hate seeing her this ill, its time to stop POTS, so join me! Thank you so much, for everything.
