BENEFITING: Hero Initiative
At Dallas Comic Con 2014, a group of fellow Deadpool cosplayers and I joined together to "invade" parts of the convention to make people laugh. As we did so, we made hundreds of people's days and it was a great experience. Then I began to think, what if we not only make people's day at conventions, but around the world as well. I created The Deadpool Project to give hope to people who need it, and putting a friendly (for the most part) face on the lead. The Deadpool Project is a nonprofit charity that donates directly to a variety of non-profit charities. We are currently donating directy to The Hero Initiative, which helps comic writers, artists, and creators with everyday necessities. By donating here, you not only help raise the bar for The Deadpool Project, but you donate right to the comic book writers that bring those fantastic characters we know and love to life. For now our goal is 5,000 dollars, as a small start, but as we expand to a larger portion of people, we will expand our goal. If you decide to donate, or maybe you would like to spread the word, all help is wanted. Thank you for your support, and most of all, excelsior!
