Remember those illustrations in your high school biology book? Or the infographic you saw last week in the paper about AIDS research? Or the animation you saw on the news about stem cells? Or the brochure about heart health you got from your doctor? These are just some of the ways a medical illustrator may have - and often does - touch your life.
The Vesalius Trust supports education in visual communication in the health sciences. An important part of what the Trust does is provide scholarships for graduate students in medical illustration. It's a very specialized field that supports quality healthcare and the understanding of science - things that benefit every single one of us.
Consider your generous donation to be a vote for clear, beautiful, and understandable images to interpret science.
