Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

"If I follow Jesus, it won't be for a long time. I'm not anything like a Christian. I do and think some pretty terrible things."

I'm not really sure how many times I've heard some form of that statement in the past couple of years. Family members, friends or strangers - people from every walk of life refusing the Word of God because they feel unworthy of it.

And every time I hear that, it kills me. It kills me because He held Himself to the cross to die so that He could enter into our darkness and bring light. Just as Jesus left His seat in heaven and entered into the fallen world, He wants to do the same in each person now. There is no call to transform ourselves before coming to our Father because He is the Redeemer. He is the one who transforms us into His image from glory to glory.

So what does that look like? How can these people see and accept God's gift of grace?

Believers of all walks of life need to share the stories of grace in their lives, and others need to help them. Telling my story isn't enough. God created me to reach certain people, but He also created others to reach the ones that my experiences don't speak to. My vision is to share the story of how God has entered in to the wreckage of people's lives and offered them His grace. This is His story- not mine or the other people's on camera.

In a span of 5 years He has changed my vision from a charity I was going to name Grace's Gift after an 8-year old girl who had leukemia who passed away while I was in high school, to traveling the world for almost the entire 2015 year doing mission work through the World Race, God has certainly transformed my vision and myself more into His image.

My plan is to use this money to get a DSLR Canon T3i kit, a sigma 17-70mm lense, audio equipment and external hard drive in order to start this ministry while I'm on the World Race. Please help me help others share the story of His grace working across the entire world in order that His Word will be heard by every tribe and tongue, and all of his sons and daughters from the ends of the earth will be called by His name.

I graduated in May 2014 from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication specializing in broadcast. God has really blessed me with opportunities and strengths through using this degree to share others life-stories. I think it's time I use the gifts and talents He's given me for His kingdom and eternal purpose.
