We exist to rewrite the tragedy of human trafficking and our mission is to provide hope and restoration to survivors of human trafficking in Central Virginia. We are the only organization in Central Virginia that offers services to victimis of human trafficking.
The Gray Haven Project operates Central Virginia’s first non-residential program specifically designed to meet the needs of human trafficking survivors. We recognize that the nature of human trafficking is complex and requires a comprehensive array of restorative services. The philosophy of our model is based on a view that each survivor is different, has unique needs, and will need supportive services that are designed to address all levels of needs whether short-term, intermediate, or long-term.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to cover the costs of our drop-in center for the next year. Our drop-in center is a confidential space where victims of human trafficking can come for counseling, emotional support, job and life skills, or just a safe place to hang out. We rely entirely on donations from individuals who believe in what we are doing to help bring restoration and wholeness to victim's lives. Our rent for the center is $10,000, and we need all the help we can get to keep our doors open!
