Our VCE staff team, the Green Mountain Goatsuckers, will maintain its commitment to a low-carbon Birdathon this spring, as we follow our 2014 route of foot and boat travel along the Connecticut River, trusting that paddles will replace the ice skates we’d need now. We’ll start at dawn in the Bradford area, birding a few select upland spots, then shift venue to a flotilla of canoes and kayaks. We’ll paddle our way down to Norwich, stopping often to check the river’s varied habitats. With luck and good weather, we hope to identify 100+ birds.
Can we count on your support? Your generous donation will provide a huge boost to VCE’s science-based bird and biodiversity conservation across the Americas.
