Courage. Resilience. Strength. These are just a few characteristics that describe the over 14 million cancer survivors across America.
Not only do these words describe those who won their fight against cancer, but those who fought courageously and with dignity. As our community comes together on June 4, 2017, join Lutheran Medical Center and Cancer Centers of Colorado for our 10th Anniversary Run/Walk and National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration.
After ten fun filled years, Lutheran Medical Center is proud to present the 2017 Heroes of Hope Run/Walk. Celebrate with survivors, help to inspire those who are recently diagnosed, and support the families who have lost their loved ones to cancer and be a Hero of Hope in our community.
Heroes of Hope features scenic and fast 5K and 10K courses, a 1-mile family walk, kids’ dash, live entertainment, door prizes for cancer survivors, a huge health and safety fair, kids’ activities and more.
Kids Dash finishers are honored with ribbons. The top two male and female runners in each age group will receive medals, and the top overall male and female finishers will receive a medal and special gift from our sponsors. Proceeds from the Heroes of Hope Run/Walk support Cancer Centers of Colorado at Lutheran Medical Center at are tax deductible as allowed by law.
