The Ivins Outreach Center has been serving the residents of Morrisville and its surrounding communities since 2003. Funds raised from the community have been used to support the following local programs:
Free transportation for the elderly and infirm to medical appointments (our Faith In Action program);
Community service projects for adjudicated youth;
Non-monetary resources and referrals to families in crisis;
Support of Welcoming The Stranger (an ESL program)
The Ivins Outreach Center also assists thelocal school district by administering in-school and after-school enrichment programs to help the community's children (our 21st Century Grant program), and in-school mentoring of teenagers by older adults (our Generations Educating Mentoring program). Funds for these activities come from the state through the school district but cannot be used to fund any programs listed in the previous paragraph.
