BENEFITING: KIDS N KAMP
EVENT DATE: Sep 08, 2013
On September 8th 2013, Andrew Byrd, a Kids ‘n Kamp dad and motorcycle enthusiast, will embark on a trip around the United States on his motorcycle to raise awareness and support for Kids ‘n Kamp, an independent, non-profit organization devoted to the social, educational, and emotional needs of families touched by childhood cancer. Supporters may pave the way in fulfilling Andrew's journey by donating miles of support. Every $10 donated buys Andrew a mile towards the completion of his goal. $10 = 1 mile, $100 = 10 miles, $1,000 = 100 miles. Andrew's journey will cover 10,000 miles.
Andrew will ride his Kawasaki Concours 14 around the country by himself, spending roughly 16 hours per day on the bike. 10 days. Touching 54 major cities in 40 states. Covering 10,000 miles. All for Kids 'n Kamp. Andrew's son Ryan was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma in 2005. Throughout Ryan's cancer journey, Andrew's family received constant support from Kids 'n Kamp. This year, Ryan will turn 21 and has a clean bill of health. Andrew is forever grateful to Kids 'n Kamp and is taking a trip around the country to give back to the organization that has given so much to his family.
Your donation will go towards Andrew's journey and will directly benefit Kids 'n Kamp.
