Help give the gift of sight to a sweet dog named Marley! In 2008, Marley was rescued from a dog breeder who badly abused him. While in the care of his former owner, he suffered a trauma to his forehead that left him with a large cyst (which has been removed) and a scar. It is likely that the trauma to his head caused the cataracts that he now suffers with, although this isn’t certain.

Since being adopted into a loving home, Marley has evolved from a timid dog that used to hide in fear to a loving mild-mannered pup with a happy-go-lucky disposition. Marley is currently in good health but has one mature cataract in his right eye and another one starting to develop in his left eye. He is able to function on a daily basis but often bumps into things or stumbles in the yard because he can’t see.

We are raising money to have both of his cataracts removed by an experienced veterinary ophthalmologist. Because Marley is only 7 years old, he will get to enjoy the restoration of his sight for many years to come, thanks to your generous donations. Thank you for helping to give Marley the chance to see what he’s been missing in this beautiful world of ours! Your support is very much appreciated!
