BENEFITING: SAVE THE CHIMPS
Feeding over 270 chimps translates into approximately 1925 lbs of apples, 2520 lbs of bananas, 840 lbs of oranges, 980 lbs of tomatoes and so on, per week - for an annual food bill of over $450,000 per year.
All of the chimps eat three meals per day of fresh fruits and vegetables. Each meal is three “courses”, such as a banana, a grapefruit and an ear of corn, as well as “monkey chow”; a nutritionally complete commercial primate diet.
Variety is the spice of life, so the menu changes daily. A week of meals for the chimps might include bananas, apples, oranges, tomatoes, carrots, grapefruit, cucumbers, peppers, corn, yams, celery, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, oatmeal, and pasta, as well as the monkey chow.
You can help make sure the chimps continue to enjoy all of this delicious fresh produce by donating funds to feed a chimp for a week, four weeks, six months, or a year. Please sponsor nutritious, delicious meals for the chimps who recently migrated from New Mexico to Florida!
A donation of $25.00 will feed a chimp for one week
A donation of $100.00 will feed a chimp for one month
