The Moyer Foundation, a public, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with offices in Seattle, WA and Philadelphia, PA, was founded in 2000 by MLB, World Series Champion pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen.
The Moyer Foundation created and supports two free signature programs: Camp Erin ®, the largest national bereavement program for children and teens who are grieving the death of someone close to them, and Camp Mariposa® is a first-of-its-kind addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth impacted by the substance abuse of a family member.
The Moyer Foundation brings together a wide network of community partners who host camp programs, raise awareness, and share in the mission of helping children experiencing grief and family addiction.
Funds for programs and initiatives are raised through special events, corporate partnerships and individual donations. The Moyer Foundation is grateful to all of the dedicated volunteers, corporate sponsors, in-kind and individual donors who join our team—to help give hope to children impacted by grief and family addiction.
