The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless and low-income New Yorkers. Every day, our 11 frontline programs help more than 3,500 men, women and children survive immediate crises and set them on the path to long-term stability. We tackle every aspect of the problem by providing emergency food and clothing, crisis services, eviction prevention, permanent housing, job training and after-school and summer programs for youth.
We know what works, and our team of advocates fights for the humane, cost-effective policies proven to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. We hope you’ll join with us to restore hope to thousands in desperate need.
