As the holidays approach, Hollywood HEART brings to a close our 20th year of empowering underserved youth through education and exploration of the arts. These past 20 years have been filled with 21 Camp Hollywood HEARTs serving youth affected by HIV/AIDS. The past 20 years have included the launch of 30 new programs and the evolution of our Educational Arts Workshops into sustainable and replicable in school and after school arts programs. We are making a difference in the lives of youth. A glance through our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube pages and you’ll see the impact of your support.
Hollywood HEART has a lot to be thankful for at this milestone. From donors such as the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, S. Mark Taper Foundation, and the California Community Foundation to the generosity of new sponsors such as Malibu Films and Soba Recovery Center and to those who have been with us from the very beginning. We cannot give enough thanks to all for helping us get here. This organization is the work and generosity of many.
We are inspired this season by the words of philanthropist W. Clement Stone who said, “If you are really thankful, what do you do? You share.” We ask you to share in our mission of creating a pathway from school to success for Transitional Age Youth. Share in the opportunity to bring the arts to the kids who need it most. Share in the feeling that your contribution could make a difference in a child’s life.
Join us in our Crowdrise goal of raising $25,000 to support Hollywood HEART in our next 20 years of arts programming. Contributions are tax-deductible and give at risk youth the opportunity to discover, practice, perform, and pursue their creative talents as they move from school to success.
