The Pet Project Midwest keep loved Central Iowa pets in their homes and out of shelters through proactive programming that addresses potential causes for separation before they become irreperable. We partner with the community and other organizations and are funded entirely by private donations, corporate sponsorship and grants. All of our programs are 100% volunteer run and managed.
AniMeals is a Meals-on-Wheels companion program ensures our most vulnerable neighbors get the nutrition they need, and so do their beloved companion animals.
The Pet Pantry helps local families with food and supplies so they can keep their pets during finacial struggles rather that turning those pets over to local shelters.
Paws For Life provides food and supplies for the life of the pet to the disabled and eldery; often times their pet is their only companion.
