BENEFITING: Pulmonary Hypertension Association Inc
PPH - Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. Does not discriminate. There is no cure for this but our HOPE never gives up. My 2 granddaughters, Valerie Sauceda & her older sister, Vanessa Sauceda-Bedoy battled this disease for years, not willing to give up on life. I could say they lost to PPH, but that would be like saying PPH won, and my granddaughters were true Warriors to the end. Valerie received her wings at age 13 years on January 12, 2002, and Vanessa fought on for another 7 years until she took her last breath on May 16, 2009, at the age of 22 years. Our Angel Warriors inspired so many because in spite of their struggles as they lived, hurting with every breath they took, they continued smiling refusing to give up without a fight ! It is hurtful knowing you can die at any given moment, and as a parent, feeling so useless because there is nothing you can do to save your child. All we had was prayer and family support and that was comforting, but the years past has not healed the void of losing them. It just becomes bearable. So, it is in their memory that we continue to do what we can to help find the cure so children can have longer lives, so those with PPH can live pain free from this disease. But we cannot do this without your help & support. If you go to PHAssociation.com you will find the information regarding this disease so you can have a better understanding of how it shortens peoples lives. Please, help to find a cure. Everyday is one step closer. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!! I DO THIS IN MEMORY OF MY GRANDDAUGHTERS! PHite ON!!! God bless & Thank you!
