BENEFITING: The Hall STEPS Foundation
The great American Distance Runner Ryan Hall announced his retirement on January 15th, 2016. Many will remember Ryan for gutsy performances that include the 2011 Boston Marathon (2:04:58), the 2007 London Marathon (2:08:24), and the 2007 Houston Half Marathon (59:43).
Great running performances aside, Ryan has long inspired everyone that has closely followed his career. He has always carried himself with the utmost class, held true to the values of his faith, and been the strongest of role-models to runners and non-runners alike. Anyone who has followed him via Social Media, met him at an Expo, or even read about him in Runner's World, knows that he's the real-deal - - one of the most genuine and likable people you'd ever meet and truly cares about making a difference in this world.
With the deepest admiration and respect for his career and as a tribute to his influence on the sport and his legacy, this fundraiser looks to make sure that Ryan (and Sara), via the "Hall Steps Foundation", will continue their work to fight global poverty through better health. The goal of the Hall Steps Foundation is to build a community and provide each member an opportunity to take their own STEPS toward relieving suffering and helping the poor rise out of poverty. http://www.thestepsfoundation.org/the-steps-foundation
Please consider donating anything you can so that Ryan can continue his work at the Hall Steps Foundation. Your donation, large or small, will be a great tribute to Ryan and will forever protect his legacy.
