The Spay/Neuter Project

Almost 3/4 of the way to my goal!!!
August 25, 2016
According to many rescue groups, last year was the "worst year ever" in population of homeless cats. And this new year has the potential to be even worse. People aren't getting their pets fixed. Throwing kittens into dumpsters has become a popular form of birth control. Unacceptable. Statistics show that one unfixed cat can multiply to nearly 60,000 cats in just ten years! Thats 60,000 cats with no food or water, no shelter, no protection, NO LOVE. If I fix even just one stray, imagine the impact I've made. But that's not enough. I am going after the colonies, and so far I've found two! With more than ten feral cats per colony, this will be no easy feat. Luckily I have the drive and determination, now I just need help with the financing. Per cat costs are roughly $40, plus the purchase of the traps at approximately $100 each.. My goal of $5000 will purchase 10 traps and spay/neuter 100 cats. Together we can end the homeless cat population, or at least make a giant dent in it!
From my soul to yours, thank you.
