The Thrive Magazine, a publication founded upon the pillars of equality, inclusivity and non-judgement, encompasses more than activism for LGBT+ rights; it stand for celebrating differences and fostering diversity. It stands for the boundless spirit that each of us embody and the freedom that we deserve. It stands for loving one’s own self…and living unafraid. To love a man or a woman or both or none; it is who you are. To be a man or a woman or both or not conform to “accepted” ideas of gender at all…it is who you are. And you mustn't have to change that. Not for anyone. You do not need validation; you just need to embrace and love who you are. Thrive is a forum to share our stories, ideas and messages to inspire youth across the globe. All our lives are magical kaleidoscopes of memories, experiences and learnings. And through personal testimonials, interviews and messages from across the globe, we wish to put these kaleidoscopes out it the world for all to look through and realize that giving up is not the answer. We are planning to have another section for Thrive which will include sex education modules. A lot of bullying and discrimination happens because of lack of correct information. Thrive can become a platform for not only learning about other's stories but also exploring oneself. A lot of LGBT youth go on the internet to learn more about themselves as it is the only safe source they have. A lot of websites actually provide them with partially incorrect information. We aim to create sex education modules that don’t on focus on heterosexuality but sexuality as a whole. We need funds to develop our website and work with professionals to help create impactful education modules.
